Hi, I’m Cheryl Morris MCIPR, founder of Creative Word PR and passionate small business advocate.
I believe words should bring your business to life and tell your story. So, who am I?
With over 15 years of experience I qualified as a journalist working across Staffordshire on local and regional titles reporting on everything from news to crime and features.
Over 15 years of experience
I then went on to join a busy media relations team at Stoke-on-Trent City Council dealing with media queries and pitching stories to regional, broadcast and national media. This mixture of skills means I know exactly what makes a good story and how to make a business stand out.
Passionate about helping small businesses
It is the main reason I set up Creative Word PR in 2015 as I was passionate about making PR and great content accessible to all.
I now run Burton Small Business with three independent companies to hold not-for-profit events to support local businesses and support the Small Business Saturday movement to encourage people to think local.
In 2019 I was recognised by business woman Jacqueline Gold MBE in the Women in Business #WOW awards and also recieved the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday award.
My mission is to bring big brand thinking to small and micro businesses. Providing flexible and affordable support at every stage in your business.
