PR campaign to launch the new multi-million pound Global Technical Centre for International turnkey engineering specialists Briggs of Burton.

Who?
Briggs of Burton is a global process engineering company headquartered in Burton on Trent, UK. With over 285 years’ experience, Briggs are known for their rich history and heritage in the Brewing and Distilling industries supplying turnkey engineering and equipment projects for the biggest breweries and distilleries globally. In recent years, the company has diversified and developed its experience in the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. This growth has allowed the business to continue to develop and they now employ over 270 staff across seven sites globally.
The Project
To mark the opening of the new multi-million pound investment at Briggs Global Technical Centre in Burton the company were looking for a press launch to highlight their growth and expanded facilities.
Working with Briggs, Creative Word PR produced a press release to promote the investment and recognise the key messaging around the success.
The press release not only highlighted the ongoing success of the company but focused on the environmental considerations and employee wellbeing which the expansion plans emphasised.
Result
The launch received extensive coverage across key publications with spikes in both social media and website hits as a direct result.
