Spring is in the air with first new lambs of the season

Farmer Tom Robinson talks to BBC Radio reporter in the farm's Ewe maternity ward with sheep and new lambs

Thanks to BBC Radio Derby for coming out to see the National Forest Adventure Farm’s first lambs of the season this morning on the Breakfast Show.

Not even 24 hours old the triplets born yesterday afternoon arrived early to become the first at the farm this year.

Farmer Ivor Robinson, who owns the popular farm park with brother Tom, showed reporter Vicky behind the scenes of the farm’s ewe maternity ward as well as meeting the new arrivals as the farm prepares for its February Half Term lambing live event.

One of the busiest times of the year in the farming calendar the event is a chance for families to get a glimpse of rural life on a farm, meet the new arrivals and feed the new lambs.
